Goal:
To create a workplace that supports staff comfort and productivity within one corporate campus which reflects the organization’s values and brand.
Solution:
New construction provided IMT Insurance and architecture firm Shive Hattery with the opportunity to design a corporate headquarters from the inside out with staff function at the heart of the design. Workstations served as an integral element of the overall campus design to create a cohesive environment, aligning team members under one roof. Each workstation within the building is outfitted with sit-to-stand desks, high-performance task seating and dual monitor arms, individually supporting ergonomic needs. In addition, the workstations provide integrated coat closets and comprehensive storage solutions. Canvas Office Landscape’s flexible kit of parts provides an essential element of modularity to support future growth and organizational change.
Throughout the campus, a wide array of meeting spaces were implemented to accommodate groups of all sizes, offering choice and variety. By providing a diverse collection of different conference rooms, landing spaces, and lounge settings, the workplace supports team members throughout their day, from scheduled meetings to impromptu touch points.
A focal point of the headquarters is the central cafe that acts as a hub within the campus, supporting both smaller daily activities as well as company-wide gatherings. Light-weight stackable seating paired with a series of dining tables allows the space to take shape for the events within the space, while integrated booth seating and auditorium benching provide a comfortable seating alternative.
Outdoor settings, a fitness room and a rec room complete with a TV lounge, pool table, and arcade games provide team members with a variety of opportunities to recharge.
