First Equity is a Midwest real estate development company that specializes in the construction and management of retail, industrial, and special-use tenant spaces. When it came to the construction and design of their own tenant complex, they turned to long-time partner Pigott.
From the beginning, First Equity, in partnership with Ryan Construction, sought to engage the Pigott team in planning the layout and design of the space. By engaging Pigott’s team early in the design of the building, strategic solutions for interior walls were made by utilizing DIRTT Architectural Wall Solutions. DIRTT can be found in a variety of locations within the space due to the flexibility and quality design of the product. Utilizing DIRTT within any space allows for easy customization and reconfiguration in the future.
First Equity’s new tenant space has the capacity to house 3 tenants including themselves. Interior finishes were provided by Pigott throughout the common spaces of the building, including reception, restroom facilities, and more, thus creating a cohesive design that was suitable for all tenants in the building.
This project illustrates the breadth of services and insight that Pigott provides in order to best support our customers. Herman Miller and OFS product are featured throughout the office. Pigott’s design team was able to help plan their space with the environment in mind through revitalizing and reconfiguring existing Herman Miller Canvas product. By leveraging existing product that was in good condition, First Equity was able to complete this project more sustainably and economically. Through this valued partnership, First Equity has gained a space that aligns with their facility and business strategies.
