Adapting our annual WeCare event to bring holiday cheer to more than 200 children in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and the Quad Cities.
Pigott, Herman Miller, and the Boys & Girls Club of Central Iowa, the Corridor, and Mississippi Valley are joining forces for the annual “We Care,” a holiday event for children in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and the Quad Cities. More than 200 children will receive kits from volunteers from Pigott, Herman Miller and local architecture and design firms to create artistic holiday crafts they can give as gifts to family, friends, and teachers. Thanks to generous donations of local businesses, the kits will also include snacks as well as other goodies.
“We Care” is a national partnership between Herman Miller, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and more than 200 architecture and design firms across the United States and Canada. In its 24th year, “We Care” events serve clubs in more than 30 major cities and benefit thousands of children each year.
