Our latest Inspiration Board includes products, accessories, and finishes from Herman Miller and Knoll lines, inspired by the rich history of these legacy brands.
With decades of collective experience between the two, Herman Miller and Knoll’s merger led our Commercial Interior Designer, Leah Lyons, to honor their legacies with this month’s inspiration board. Although the two companies merged in 2021, the intersection of these brands did not begin then. It began at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan many years before. The foundational designers of both brands, Charles and Ray Eames and Florence Knoll, worked and designed together as early as the 1930s.
The traditions and furniture pieces these designers developed within their brands, continue to endure and are as iconic as ever before. So, kick back, imagine yourself in an Eames Lounge Chair or Florence Knoll Sofa, and visit Leah’s board.
