Together By Design
From bold ideas to beautiful spaces, here's what we saw, loved, and learned in Chicago at Design Days 2025.
Each June, the design world gathers in Chicago's Fulton Market for Design Days - a multi-day celebration of design innovation, conversation, and community. This year, members of the Pigott team once again joined designers, clients, and industry peers for a look inside the future of space planning and product design.
MillerKnoll's 2025 theme, Together By Design, highlighted the power of connection between people, between brands, and between design and purpose. From product introductions and space tours to thoughtful panel discussions, this year's programming emphasized the shared value of bringing diverse voices together to shape the places where we work, heal, learn, and gather.
As always, our team was energized by the opportunity to explore new ideas, connect with our clients, and be inspired by the evolving design landscape. Whether it was seeing what's next from iconic brands like Herman Miller, Knoll, Muuto, and HAY, or learning how designers are reimagining spaces for flexibility and well-being, Design Days 2025 reinforced what we believe deeply: we're better when we design together.
Reflections from the Team
It was great to see the MillerKnoll brands as a collective. Seeing a full floorplate outfitted entirely with brands under the MillerKnoll umbrella was an impactful and powerful message for our partners and clients. It spoke to our impressive breadth of lines that are unique to us. Knoll's new product line, Dividends Skyline, received a lot of interest and praise from the A+D community. They were impressed with the clean aesthetic and sightlines and loved the integration of the lounge furniture into the open office concept.

There was so much to see, and the showrooms and new product introductions across the collective were stunning! The MillerKnoll Health Care focus was a phenomenal addition to the showrooms and a wonderful way to showcase the breadth and history of the Herman Miller healthcare portfolio to influencers and clients. The new Gemma seating line was a hit and fills a real need for a full range of recliners with varying functions for different health needs, as well as guest sleeping accommodations within patient rooms. With the continuous advancement of technology, humanizing our spaces becomes even more important. The details created by MillerKnoll, with consideration for caregivers as well as both patients and their families, make all the difference.
- Diane Rasmussen, A+D Manager at Pigott
I was inspired by how MillerKnoll's thoughtfully designed spaces not only showcased each brand's strengths but also demonstrated the powerful synergy created when they come together–it helped our clients envision environments that authentically support and elevate their own brand identities.
- Natasha Salyars, Market Development Executive at MillerKnoll
I was thrilled to attend Design Days this year. I haven't been since Herman Miller moved to Fulton Market. My favorite aspect of the MillerKnoll showroom was seeing Herman Miller & Knoll combined and represented as one unified brand. MillerKnoll has an amazing design heritage! As far as new product introductions, my favorite was Dividends Skyline. I am excited about the elevated aesthetic and innovative approach to the open office.
